The University of Glasgow’s School of Veterinary Medicine is working with selected Universities across North America to offer a unique opportunity: FEEPASS (Facilitated Early Entry Program for Animal Science Students).
This innovative programme offers high quality animal science students from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign a chance to study veterinary medicine within the global context.

How does Vet FEEPASS work?
If you are selected on this programme, you will:
- complete your final year of your animal science degree at the University of Glasgow. During your time at Glasgow, you will be enrolled in the first year of the University’s Veterinary Medicine programme while earning credits toward your home institution degree.
- upon successful completion of the year abroad and graduation from your US university, you will be guaranteed entry into year 2 of the University of Glasgow’s BVMS programme.

Accreditations
The University of Glasgow has approved status from the American Veterinary Medical Association, so that the final qualification received is equivalent to a DVM obtained from a veterinary school in North America.
The University of Glasgow’s BVMS programme has a combination of accreditations that will allow work as a veterinary surgeon throughout the world. It is accredited by:
- the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK accrediting body), and
- the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education.
