Macquarie University, Australia
Macquarie University is based in the suburb Macquarie Park and was established as Sydney’s third university in 1964. It is the first university in Australia to fully align their degree structure with the Bologna accord.
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and with almost 5,000,000 inhabitants Australia’s most populous city. The metropolis surrounds the world’s biggest natural harbour, providing the famous sight of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It is close to the Blue Mountains, another famous Australian landmark. It is a bustling business and financial hub with many cultural events and tourist attractions.
