The University of Nairobi (UoN) is a research university based in Nairobi and is one of the largest universities in Kenya, split over 10 campuses. Its history as an educational institution dates back to 1956, it was transformed into the first national University in Kenya in 1970.

Network partner - ARUA

The African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA)  is a network of universities that aims to enhance the quality of research done in Africa by African researchers. The University of Glasgow enjoys a close relationship with the ARUA network. 

Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme Partner

The University of Nairobi is an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme Partner. The Erasmus+ programme now offers mobility worldwide, all participants receive a travel and subsistence allowance.
