The Dima Alhaj Scholarship

The Dima Alhaj Scholarship was set up in 2024 in memory of a University of Glasgow alumna. After graduating, Dima worked in Gaza with the World Health Organization as a patient administrator at the limb reconstruction centre, as part of the trauma and emergency team and was tragically killed in Gaza in November 2023.

To be eligible applicants must: 

  • Have applied to study an eligible programme at the University of Glasgow for the 2025-26 academic session.  
  • Be a Palestinian national
  • Be domiciled in Palestinan

  • Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of study  
  • A stipend of £9010 per year towards for study/living costs 
  • University of Glasgow accommodation for the duration of study (Please note this scholarship will not fund private accommodation)
