The Bachelor of Technological Education


The degree programme qualifies you to teach technology subjects in secondary schools. In Scotland, these currently include Craft & Design, Practical Craft Skills, Product Design, Technological Studies and Graphic Communication. Your teaching qualification will also be recognised elsewhere in the UK and in some European countries. The degree is an integrated programme of study, which combines technology and design courses with educational studies, craft skills, periods of school experience and industrial placement over a four year Honours programme.
