The Centre's History The Robert Clark Centre for Technological Education was founded in 1987 and has, in the last few years, developed an enviable national and international standing in Technological Education in both teaching and research. The Centre has academic and research staff who, together with associated staff carry out funded research and contribute to the delivery of a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, most notably the Bachelor of Technological Education (B Tech Ed). The Centre also has a number of full and part-time research students who are well supported by the research activities of the Centre. The Centre's staff have been awarded over 2.5 million pounds of internal and external funding for various research projects and have produced over 80 publications on improving education for technology & engineering and the effective use of Information & Communication technology for learning and teaching. |
