Thailand
The first students from Thailand arrived in 1910 to study Engineering and Naval Architecture. Since then many Thai students have come to the University and studied a range of subjects including Engineering, Science and Medicine. We currently have over 100 students from Thailand and are looking forward to welcoming many more. Popular courses include Politics, International Law, Finance, Biomedical Sciences and Aerospace Engineering.
Undergraduate entry requirements
Matayom 6
The Matayom 6 is not acceptable for direct entry to undergraduate programme but applicants with a GPA of 2.5 in the M6 may attend the undergraduate foundation programme at Glasgow International College.
Science degrees
Students with AAB performance in A Levels/IBDP may be also eligible for year 2 entry to a number of Engineering and Science degree programmes.
Software Engineering
The University has a 2 plus 2 articulation agreement with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Software Engineering. Further details can be obtained from Dr Visit Hirankitti at KMITL.

Glasgow International College
A pass on a recognised foundation programme. Our partner, Glasgow International College offers preparation courses to international students who wish to study with us but do not meet our academic entry requirements.

- Representatives are paid by the University for their services and will not pass on charges to prospective students.
