Bulgaria
Bulgarians have been coming to study at the University of Glasgow for decades - our first known student arriving in 1942 - and alumni are now active in technology, academia and other professions the world over. In fact, we welcome over 350 students from Bulgaria every year, one of the highest of any EU country, attracted by student life at a world top 100 university in one of the world’s best student cities.
Why not consider joining them and share our love of mountains, wine, bagpipes - and perhaps even open our eyes to the joys of yoghurt!
In the meantime, why don’t you check out our Bulgarian and Central and Eastern European Studies societies?
