ASBS Global Impact Scholarship

The Adam Smith Business School (ASBS) Global Impact Scholarship seeks to attract exceptional students from diverse backgrounds who aspire to make a meaningful difference in the world.

This award supports individuals who have demonstrated resilience, curiosity and a commitment to driving positive change through their academic and/or personal endeavours.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have received an offer to study on an eligible programme and accepted your offer by closing date.

Don’t wait until the deadline - apply as soon as you are eligible to maximise your opportunity to receive a scholarship decision in time to inform your study decision.

To be eligible applicants must:

  • demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours
  • hold an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for September 2026 intake and accept the offer
  • have international or EU fee status

This scholarship is available for 1-year, full-time masters only. PgDips, PgCerts or MRes courses are not eligible.

How to apply

This scholarship will open shortly. Please, sign up to receive a notification.

Closing date: 31st March 2027 11:45AM UK Time

This scholarship will be assessed in two stages:

1st assessment stage: Your online application will be assessed and if successful, you will be invited to 2nd stage by 2nd April 2027.

2nd assessment stage: You will be asked to submit a 2-minute video relating to Adam Smith Business School mission and values. Video submission deadline: 9th April 2027. Final decisions sent to all applicants by 19th April 2027.

Applicants shortlisted for ASBS Entrepreneurial Leaders Award and Global Impact Scholarship will only need to submit one video.

We will provide alternative format submission for any applicants unable to provide a video response due to disability, access needs or other circumstances.
