A growing number of Slovenians are making the journey to the University of Glasgow every year, commencing their studies at world top 100 university in one of the world’s best student cities. In fact, 20+ join our student community annually, joining our first known Slovenian graduate, Gabriel Majcen, who graduated in Engineering in 1922.
Many more have followed since with alumni now active in Slovenian research, industry and commerce, amongst others. Whilst here, you will be able to enjoy our hills and forests, as well as a world renowned music scene - even skiing! In the meantime, check out our Ex-Yu and Central and Eastern European Studies societies.
