Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund (CCSF)

Description

The Trustees of the Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund (CCSF) are pleased to announce the availability of funds for awards (£2000-£5000) to Canadian men and women. These awards are for academic and artistic studies in the UK, and are exclusively for students who have already commenced their multiyear studies in the UK. Up to 16 awards may be given, and include The Mary LeMessurier award for the study of History and the Belle Shenkman award for the Study of Arts.

Eligibility

To qualify for a CCSF award, an applicant must:

1. Be a Canadian citizen.

2. Be currently enrolled full-time in a multi-year postgraduate programme, and at the time of application be attending a UK university or similar institution, and have completed at least one full time term of study.

3. Be able to demonstrate academic excellence.

4. Require funds to complete their studies.

DEADLINE

The CCSF 2018-2019 Scholarship competition (deadline 9 March 2018) is now closed.  The competition for 2019-2020 scholarships will be announced in November 2018.

The Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund was established in 1967 and is funded by the Maple Leaf Trust, Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London, SW1Y 5BJ.
