Stevenson Exchange Scholarships


The scholarships were founded in 1932 and 1935 by Sir Daniel Stevenson, Bt.LLD, Chancellor of the University for the promotion of friendly relations between students of Scotland, Germany, France and Spain.



To be eligible students must

  • be a student currently registered at a Scottish University or at a University in France Germany or Spain
  • be about to complete a placement or a year abroad as part of their degree in France Germany, Spain or the UK
  • be no older than 25 (35 in special cases)

Applicants currently attending a Scottish University are expected to attend an interview which usually takes place in April
