The Humanitarian Scholarship
This scholarship is not available to PhD, PGdip, PDGE or part time programmes.
This scholarship can not be combined with any other University of Glasgow scholarship. In the event you are offered 2 scholarships, the lower value scholarship will be removed from your student account.
To be eligible applicants must:
- Have applied to study an eligible programme at the University of Glasgow for the 2026-27 academic session.
- Be domiciled in any country that is not the United Kingdom
- Have international or EU fee status
- Be classed as a highly qualified applicant, this is usually determined by an ability to demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours
- Be at serious risk due to armed conflict, and/or, have been displaced within your home country or forced to leave your home country within the last three years because of armed conflict, and have sought international protection outside the UK.
