Please accept our warm and friendly invitation to attend the 24th Europhysics Conference on Atomic and Molecular Physics of Ionized Gases (ESCAMPIG) recognised by the European Physical Society as a Europhysics Conference.

The conference will take place in the vibrant city of Glasgow, on the  campus of the University of Glasgow, between July 17th and 22nd, 2018. Please come and enjoy a lively, stimulating and convivial conference, set in the wonderful environment of Glasgow and Scotland!

Conference Format and Topics

 

ESCAMPIG consists of plenary, invited general lectures and topical lectures, poster sessions and workshops. All contributed papers (oral and poster) will be refereed by the International Scientific Committee, and only approved contributions will be published in the electronic book of contributed papers. The subject categories for the conference are as follows:

 

  1. Atomic and molecular processes in plasmas
  2. Transport phenomena; particle velocity distributions
  3. Physical basis of plasma chemistry
  4. Plasma surface interactions (boundary layers, sheaths, surface processes etc)
  5. Plasma diagnostics
  6. Plasma discharges: theory and simulation
  7. Self-organisation in plasmas, including dusty plasmas
  8. Upper atmospheric plasmas and space plasmas

  10. High pressure plasma sources
