Your campus card is your key to University life. It gives you access to:
- the library
- sports facilities
- student discounts in a wide variety of shops, bars, cinemas and online
How to Get Your Campus Card
Before you can receive your card, make sure you've completed:
- Academic Registration
- Visa Registration (for international students)
- Photo Upload- A passport-style photograph is needed for your card. You can upload it during Academic Registration or later via MyCampus Student Centre > Personal Information > Photographs.

You can request a replacement if your card is:
When and How You'll Get Your Card
PGDE Students (Education Primary or Secondary, including Dumfries campus)
- Card posted to your term address from 11 August
Access & Short Courses
- Card posted to your home address from 3 September
Online Courses
- Card posted to your home address from 3 September
Home & rUK students in Murano Street Student Village
- Registered and photo uploaded by 31 August? Collect your card when checking in on 12 or 13 September, 12:00-18:00
- Registered after 31 August or have not uploaded a photo? Get your card printed on 14 September, 12:00-18:00
International Students in Murano Street Student Village
- Receive your card at your Visa Registration appointment
- Appointments will take place from 9 September, Fraser Building (Level 3)
- Book from 18 August via the Immigration Compliance webpages
All other students
- Book an appointment to collect your card.
- Students without appointments will be asked to return when they have booked one.
- Collection from 15-20 September, James McCune Smith Building (Ground Floor)
- Bookings open here 1 September
- You must complete Academic Registration before collecting your card
Identification for examinations
Please note the following University regulation on identification for examinations.
Every candidate shall display for the invigilator's inspection a valid Student ID card or other form of photographic identification.
While a campus card is preferable in this instance, it is not essential if you have another form of photographic identification - for example, a drivers licence or passport. Please do not cause yourself unnecessary stress by rushing to procure a replacement campus card prior to your examinations.
