PARCHMENT TRANSLATIONS

University of Glasgow degree parchments are traditionally issued in Latin. An English translation is now included as standard at the bottom of every parchment, however if you received your parchment before the English translation was included, organisations and potential employers may request that you provide them with a copy of your parchment translated into English. You can obtain this by requesting a parchment translation.

Parchment Translations

Our parchment translations include a full English translation of the Latin text on your degree parchment. Please note that we do not produce or send legalised copies of degree parchments, for this you will need to consult a Notary Public or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
