This major research project, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, is led by The Hunterian and run in partnership with Historic Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. It aims to provide the first in-depth analysis of Mackintosh’s architecture. On completion in 2014, the project will launch a richly illustrated, free access website with catalogue raisonnés of Mackintosh’s architectural projects and drawings; an exhibition at The Hunterian; and a conference. The project has received additional funding from The Monument Trust, The Pilgrim Trust and the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
