Katerina Tertytchnaya

Katerina Tertytchnaya is an Assistant Professor in Comparative Politics at University College London, and holds a DPhil and an MPhil from the University of Oxford. Her research interests include public opinion, protests, and authoritarian politics, with a focus on the post-Soviet region. Her current research examines how nondemocratic incumbents use propaganda and nonviolent repression to lower the costs of staying in power.
