Student testimonials
Starting university was honestly an interesting experience, it was really scary but also exciting at the same time. I initially thought that I'd have trouble making new friends but a lot of my coursemates are friendly, so I got along with them easily. The university is huge and at first I couldn't really find my way around but after a few months I came to know almost every single shortcut like the palm of my hand. The first term was quite challenging but manageable. Studying definitely became easier once I got used to the teaching style. There's also a lot of support available and the lab tutors are very helpful. Deadlines can be stressful so I try to start my assignments as early as possible and I must say it's been going quite well for me. Overall, I'm really enjoying university. It's been a great experience and I've learnt a lot.
Manassanan, BSc (Hons) Computing Science – Faster Route
For me, my university experience has just gotten better and better with every year. I really started to enjoy it when I joined clubs, I started doing sports, things like that.
Lauren, Mathematics & Statistics BSc
