Science Faster Route
The Science Faster Route offers focussed, high achieving candidates joining us straight from school the option to complete the Honours Degree in 3 years or MSci degree in 4 years.
We welcome applications from students holding a range of qualifications. Entry requirements for this route are higher than those for Year 1 entry, recognising the faster pace of study and helping to ensure that students are equipped to succeed in a more academically rigorous and structured programme, while still benefiting from some opportunities for flexibility.

Social life and housing
As a faster route student you will still embrace all university welcome activities for new students and Student Representative Council Welcome Week activities.
You are including within our accommodation guarantee for undergraduates and our STEM community deliver special transition activities for students entering Year 2.
Scholarships
As a science faster route student and depending on your own circumstances you are eligible to be considered several awards, including our STEM in Scotland Scholarship.
