19 OctHe gave a seminar on Judaism, Christianity and Islam: Spiritual Resources for Peace where he reflected upon how the world’s great montheistic faiths are uniquely placed to be resources for peace in their diverse cultural contexts.
19 OctOn October 13th, the Children's Literature & Literacies PhD Group organised a one-day conference for UoG staff and students in the St Andrew's building. The conference was built around the theme of (Im)Possibilities in Children's Literature and was made up of papers delivered at the International Research Society for Children's Literature (IRSCL) in Toronto this past summer.
19 OctProfessor James Arthur , University of Birmingham and Honorary Professor of the School of Education, University of Glasgow gave a stimulating public lecture on October 6th entitled, Public and Catholic, the 1918 Education (Scotland) Act and the Identity of Catholic Schools.
