Dr Poonam Gupta OBE is CEO and Founder of PG Paper Company Ltd, one of Scotland's leading import-export businesses. Her diverse company portfolio has an annual turnover of circa $100 million, operating in over 60 countries, with offices across the globe. Awarded an OBE in 2016, she has also received an Honorary Doctorate from Glasgow Caledonian University and numerous business and international trade accolades, including recognition through the Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards and the 90-Year Legacy: International Trade Achievement Award from the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade.
Poonam is an Export Champion for the Department for Business and Trade, Chair of the FICCI UK Council's Manufacturing Sector Committee, and actively supports charitable initiatives focused on education, gender equality and community development.
