Planning, Insight & Analytics

For the current term, registered student data is provided after 1 March to allow for January/February registrations of Postgraduate students. The graduate headcounts will become available in September and the winter graduations will be added in January. 

This data is derived from the Power BI Student Headcount application, created and managed by Planning, Insight & Analytics.  The source data is derived from MyCampus (the University's Student Record System).

The data uses the UofG Standard Student Population which is for reporting purposes, rather than comparison with other Higher Education institutions and reports on rehistered students and not those who have withdrawn.  

• HESA headcounts are for reporting, i.e. all students, including dormant, withdrawn, online learning etc.
• UofG Standard population student headcounts are for operational use i.e. actual students physically at the university, not including withdrawn. 

The UofG Standard Student Population excludes students from the following areas:

ACAD_PLAN_OWNER = 90900000 (Learning Enhancement & Acad Development Service)
ACAD_LOAD_APPR = T (Thesis Pending)
