Planning, Insight & Analytics

For the current term, registered student data is provided after 1 May to allow for registrations of Postgraduate students.

This data is derived from the Power BI Student Population Report dashboard, created and managed by Planning, Insight & Analytics.  The source data is derived from MyCampus (the University's Student Record System) and available on the University's Insight Hub (see top menu).  

The data uses the UofG Standard Student Population.  The University's Insight Hub (staff only) has a Data Glossary which allows you to check for some key University Data Term definitions. See the Data Term Search box (top left) and enter: standard student population.  This allows you to see the Data Term Definition for this Data Term.  The following article on the Insight Hub provides more detail on where we use this in the University's Power BI dashboards: Which dashboard to use for counting student numbers?
