Queer River is an arts-based research project from Wiltshire-based Artist, James Aldridge, exploring the value of Queer perspectives on rivers and other wetland environments, and what they need from us in the future.

In Queer River, Wet Land, James will walk, talk and make with Glasgow based Artist, Minty Donald, and other invited collaborators, documenting their experiences of the River Clyde and Molendinar Burn. The project will focus on the interrelationship between the water and the land, in an exchange of practices that draws on work with their local rivers, and the substrates that they flow through/over.

Details of the Queer River, Wet Land performance score, and the online sharing event will be added in due course. Documentation of the collaborative river walks, and subsequent remote/online events, will be shared on the Queer River website (www.queerriver.com) throughout September and October.
