Registration and Enrolment

You must register online before starting at the University using MyCampus, the University's student information system. Don't forget to register and enrol, even if you're not able to join us on campus yet. Friday 12th October is the last date for enrolment for anyone beginning studies in September:

  • Check your 'Access Your Student Account' email for your login details
  • Log in to the MyGlasgow Student Portal via MyGlasgow Students
  • Under the MyCampus heading, select: My Registration

Council Tax - Student Exemption

Please read the full guidance included below. You will find a downloadable application form to claim Council Tax exemption from the Dumfries and Galloway Council website:

Please complete parts A & C of this form and also please ensure that your term time address on MyCampus matches the address completed on the form.

Once you have completed and checked the form send it to dumfries-admin@glasgow.ac.uk from your student email account.

An administrator will complete part B and send to Dumfries & Galloway Council and you will be copied into this email for notification.

 

People not counted for council tax purposes

Councils ignore certain groups when counting the people living in your home and calculating your council tax. These people are known as disregarded persons.
