Prof Metzger and his co-editors have published a book of essays in honour of their colleague, Boudewijn Sirks. The book, titled Inter cives necnon peregrinos: Essays in honour of Boudewijn Sirks, contains the contributions of fifty-one scholars on all aspects of Roman law: ancient, late antique, medieval and modern. It was presented to Prof Sirks on the occasion of his valedictory lecture as Regius Professor of Civil Law in the University of Oxford on 4 July 2014.
