Our group members work at the forefront of research aiming to address the global challenges in organic electronics and photonics, electrochemical energy conversion, electrocatalytic and battery applications, nano-thermoelectrics, organic photovoltaics and flow batteries, nanoscale physics of organic semiconductors, photochemistry of light-switchable molecules.
Please take a look at the staff webpages to see in which research areas you would like to carry your PhD research and contact the relevant staff members for further information about their work.
The entry requirement for the PhD degree is a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
A range of PhD studentships are available for projects beginning in October of each year. The PhD opportunities will be advertised on FindAPhD (typically from December to July). We are always interested in hearing from potential PhD students, so why not try to contact us with an inquiry directly? Also why not follow us on Facebook or Twitter for early announcement of PhD opportunities? Or you can drop us an email and ask if there are any available by pressing the link HERE.
