Latest publication from the PISTACHIO project selected as an Editor's Pick

Innovative research is a key focus for the Kelvin Centre. We are delighted that the latest research publication from the PISTACHIO project has been selected as an Editors' Pick by the Optics Express journal.

As explained by the journal, "Editors' Picks serve to highlight articles with excellent scientific quality and are representative of the work taking place in a specific field".

PISTACHIO is a collaboration with our research partners at the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. Our paper presents a novel approach to hyperspectral imaging and post-processing image analysis to illustrate the potential for efficient non-destructive classification of different materials on painted cultural heritage.
