Calum Scott wins Watt Prize

Calum Scott wins James Watt prizeDr Calum Scott has recently won the University's James Watt technician prize.


Calum's work supports all types of activity in Music from learning and teaching to research, performances and public engagement activity.

He joined the University around the time he completed his PhD in 2021 and looks after all Music's practice rooms, studios and Audio Labs.

Recently, he has also set up an immersive space for staff and students to develop teaching and research projects in an ambisonic environment as well as being in charge of the technical set up for the GLE4M festival held in the Queen Margaret Union earlier this year.
