What will it involve?

We start the PDE Award with a focus on your own strengths and how these fit with your career goals. There will be a focus on emotional and cultural intelligence throughout the PDE Award.

Teamwork is a vital aspect of the MBA and we will help you to prepare for this during induction by understanding your own personality preference and what you bring to teams. All of this is brought to life through team-based activities off-campus.

We will also focus on communication skills, giving you personalised coaching by experts so that you can be at your best when presenting in front of your peers.

We will review the skills that employers most value in MBA graduates and how you can demonstrate these. Workshops will help you to consider your own employability and how best to market yourself post-MBA.

The Award will also help to clarify your career options including how to achieve career success in the context of the future world of work.

Building your network

During the MBA year you will be able to widen your professional network through meeting employers, alumni and MBA students at other top business schools at events in both semesters. We can also connect you to a mentor.

Visits to businesses in the second semester aim to provide insights into key sectors in Scotland.

What's in it for me?

You will receive a certificate and the Award will appear on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR).
