
Adam Smith Skills Award
About the Award
As an Adam Smith Business School student, you are invited to take part in the Adam Smith Skills Award to develop your skills outside of your degree programme. The award will help you to plan your time here at the business school, while gaining valuable skills and experience.
The award will acknowledge your commitment and achievements and will represent the breadth of your skills developing you as an enlightened, engaged and enterprising graduate.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
Completing activities and taking part in events that encompass our values, provides you with a set of skills and knowledge that will enhance your University experience and develop capacity for personal development, networking, employability and career planning.
By reflecting on your experience, you will be able to showcase your achievements to future employers.
COMPLETING THE AWARD
We have created three categories that represent the areas within the Adam Smith Business School which we believe provide you with the skillset and knowledge to enhance your student experience and develop your skills.

You will be required to complete three activities in total, choosing one from each category to achieve the award.
After completing the award, you can continue to develop your skills by registering for our Adam Smith Skills Award Plus, completing two activities in each category or our Adam Smith Skills Award Excellence, completing three activities in each category.
