The University of Glasgow currently runs three feminist reading groups.

  • The UofG Centre for Gender History welcomes all interested staff and postgraduate students – from any subject area – to join its reading group dedicated to exploring feminist approaches to teaching methods in Higher Education. In-person attendees are invited to join them in Room 312 (Schaper Room), 67 Oakfield Avenue (accessed via no. 69). Online attendees should contact AlanaRachel.McPake@glasgow.ac.uk for Zoom access.

  • Dr Katherine Jenkins leads a fortnightly feminist philosophy reading group during term times. Anyone wanting to join the mailing list should email her directly.

  • Dr Jenny Morrison  runs a feminist teaching practices group. For further information, please contact her directly.
