Feminist Pedagogies Reading Group
This semester, the Centre for Gender History is welcoming all interested staff and postgraduate students – from any subject area – to join our reading group dedicated to exploring feminist approaches to teaching methods in Higher Education. Are you an educator who already engages with feminist pedagogies? Or are you curious and keen to learn more? The aim is to provide a supportive space for us to share experiences, learn new approaches and critically reflect on our own practice. Focus for our discussions will be provided each month by a journal article highlighting a key perspective or theme in the scholarship. These are listed below with fuller bibliographies to be found here.
Our sessions will be hybrid. In-person attendees are invited to join us in Room 312 (Schaper Room), 67 Oakfield Avenue (accessed via no. 69). Online attendees should contact AlanaRachel.McPake@glasgow.ac.uk for Zoom access. The Reading Group is being held in partnership with the College of Arts SoTL Network (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) and the College of Social Science Gender and Sexuality L&T Network.
