Join Dr. Laura Tansley, for a series of lunchtime sessions open to UG, PGT, and PGR students in the College of Arts, focusing specifically on the University of Glasgow Graduate Attribute ‘Ethically and Socially Aware’.

Invited guest speakers will be working specifically in areas related to sustainability and the environment, from a broad range of professional and community roles related to the Arts sector and beyond, in order to illustrate the variety of destinations available to College of Arts graduates related to sustainability and environmental work and practice. 

These sessions will also provide a platform for opportunities available to students to engage with sustainability practices both within and outwith the University of Glasgow.

Session One: Andrea Fisher, The Children’s Wood

In this session we are joined by Andrea Fisher from The Children’s Wood and North Kelvin Meadow. Andrea will talk about her work in community building, organising, and activism, as well as outdoor education, and a variety of other strings to her bow. Come along to explore skills related to sustainable community work!
