Key Points
- Dumfries Hall has six flats for 5 persons. All bedrooms are en suite.
- Bedrooms are furnished with a small double bed, desk, study light, chair, wardrobe, drawer unit, shelves, noticeboard and en suite shower room with shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
- Well-equipped kitchens with: electric oven and hob; fridge-freezer; microwave; kettle; dining table and chairs and storage cupboards.
- Students will need to provide their own bedding, bed linen and towels.
- Lounge area with sofa / chairs.
- Laundry room
- 10-minute walk from the university and a 20-minute walk from the centre of Dumfries. There is a bus stop close by with a regular bus service to the town centre.
- Free parking area. Bike rack and bike lockers for pedal cycles only (NB. e-bikes are not permitted)
- This residence is managed in partnership with Loreburn Housing Association. All processing of applications and allocations will be handled by the University of Glasgow thereby retaining its role as landlord to student residents. The University of Glasgow continues to be responsible for student welfare and the collection of fees.
