Biography

Undergraduate studies in Biology from Roma Tre University. Master's degree in biodiversity and ecosystem management from Roma Tre University that led to a PhD in studying Patterns of alien species invasion in Mediterranean Europe. During my PhD, I explored the species distribution modelling technique and was particularly interested in niche shifts for alien species.

Research interests

I am a Research Associate on the GALLANT project applying advanced statistical machine learning techniques to help Glasgow become a thriving and ecologically sustainable city.

My main research interests are:

  • Machine learning techniques and specifically sentiment analyses
  • Niche shift studies
  • Ecology of alien species
