Two papers on Roman law in June

On 12 June the School of Law welcomes Peter Candy and Tommaso Beggio to speak on Roman law.
On Thursday 12 June, the School of Law will host two papers on Roman law.
First, Dr Peter Candy (University of Cambridge) will present on the topic:
"Sea Battles and Mortal Wounds: The Role of Dialectic in Julian's Interpretation of Chapter One lex Aquilia"
Second, Prof Tommaso Beggio (University of Trento) will present on the topic:
"Fighting in the Arena: On the Condition of the so-called auctorati"
All are welcome.
