The event was aimed at anyone who wanted to learn and talk about pain and arthritis.

Mapping Out Pain included the screening of short videos from researchers about the MAP Study.

  • Dr Barbara Nicholl recorded a video about research into pain
  • Dr Bhautesh Jani’s video was about people who have more than one long-term condition
  • Dr Yvonne Cunningham made a video about qualitative research
  • Professor Frances Mair spoke about "treatment burden" which is the work that people have to do to manage their treatment, a key idea in the MAP Study research.

You can watch these videos by clicking the "Media" tab on the @UoGMAPstudy twitter page.

Plans for future engagement activities include online interactive quizzes and discussions, please follow @UofGMAPstudyUK for updates!
