Dr Inge Sørensen and CoI Dr Mark Wong, School of Social and Political Sciences, have launched the RSE funded Sustainable Screens Scotland network which will connect the Scottish film and television production industry, screen sector stakeholders, and academics across disciplines to promote the screen industry’s transition towards net-zero. Over two years, the network will create a cross-disciplinary resource of expertise and know-how which will provide an evidence-based response to the screen sector’s needs, and foster research and industry synergies and collaborations. The network is supported by a Royal Society of Edinburgh network grant and is a collaboration with and Maire Claire Bowser, Sustainability Manager at BECTU Vision,  and Screen Scotland.
