I am Louise and I joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2019. Having been a Student Advisor for over twelve years, I initially studied at Caledonian University before becoming Business Lead and the only female coach of The Self Defence Organisation of Scotland. I have enjoyed time living in Birmingham, Melbourne and Sydney before returning to Glasgow to pursue my career.

My passion has always been offering support and guidance and I spent several years working in the voluntary sector in both advocacy and supporting roles. This led to me to a career within Education and to date I have enjoyed over 12 years supporting international and home students to get the best experience from their time studying. I have experience facilitating both group and one to one sessions, creating and delivering webinars and workshops on a range of topics, including emotional resilience, managing stress and anxiety, confidence building and coping with student life.

I am here to provide support to all students in the Business School, and I am the Assigned Adviser for Accounting & Finance Programmes.
