Focusing on core and study skills development, I am here to help you  learn and implement the skills necessary for improved academic performance. I will help you explore and engage.

Hello. My name is Andrew – nice to meet you. Before pursuing a career at the University of Glasgow in my current role as Postgraduate Student Adviser, I worked as a Study Skills Tutor for 5 years at the North East Scotland College in Fraserburgh. I studied at Robert Gordon University and the Open University (Scotland).

Look out for the Evidence-Based Study Skills course that will be available in the term – this course helps debunk the more ineffective ways of studying while clarifying methods which are evidence-based and more effective.

When it comes to skills development, I am passionate about taking a practical and friendly approach to helping students not only realise their potential but release it. Although I advise all students within the Business School, I am the assigned Adviser for the Management programmes.
