The School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine brings together teaching and research across veterinary medicine, biodiversity, conservation, animal science and One Health. Our undergraduate programmes equip students with the scientific, clinical and practical skills to understand and address global challenges, including animal health and welfare, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, biodiversity loss, food security and climate change. Informed by internationally recognised research and supported by partnerships across industry, government and conservation, our programmes offer opportunities for hands-on learning through research projects, placements, fieldwork and access to specialist facilities. Students develop a strong foundation in their chosen subject while exploring its wider impact on human and animal health, the environment and society.
