Technology Platforms

The JWNC brings together specialist nanofabrication expertise, processes and equipment across a range of technology platforms. These capabilities support researchers and industry in developing, prototyping and advancing new devices and technologies, from early-stage concepts through to more mature technology development.

Photonics

Photonics is a core capability at the JWNC, underpinning technologies across communications, quantum, sensing, healthcare and computing. Our specialist facilities and expertise support the development and fabrication of advanced photonic and optoelectronic devices.

Quantum Technologies

JWNC supports the development and fabrication of quantum devices and technologies, including superconducting circuits, nanoelectronic devices and technologies for quantum computing, sensing and communications.

Semiconductors and advanced electronics

JWNC supports the development of advanced semiconductor materials and devices for applications across electronics, sensing, communications and quantum technologies.
