What we do
The James Watt Nanofabrication Centre (JWNC) is a leading open-access nanofabrication facility, supporting research, innovation and the development of advanced technologies.
Our extensive cleanroom facilities, specialist equipment and technical expertise support work across photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors and advanced electronics. We work with researchers, industry and partners at every stage, from early-stage research and prototyping through to process development and low-volume manufacture.
