Research title: Bacterial sepsis: Assessing novel molecular methods

Research Summary

My research focuses on infectious diseases, and I aim to improve public health by generating evidence for future policy decisions. Previously I worked as a microbiologist at Child Health Research Foundation in Bangladesh. Currently, as a Ph.D. student at the University of Glasgow, I am utilizing clinical metagenomics to diagnose sepsis, improve patient outcomes, and reduce antimicrobial resistance.
