Support Finder Tool

We’ve introduced Support Finder, a tool to help students access tailored information and guidance, anywhere, anytime.

You will find the Support Finder on the Wellbeing Home page, the Student Portal and the UofG Life App along with details of our support services.

Wellbeing Home

To help you find the right service for your needs, we’ve refreshed our Student Wellbeing webpages to make it easier to find information and support.

This includes our Counselling & Wellbeing Service, Disability Service, Peer Listeners, Student Support Officers to name a few.

You will also find details of how to let us know about any issues affecting your academic progress using the Extenuating Circumstances form.

Extenuating Circumstances
We know that sometimes personal, medical, or unexpected challenges can affect your academic performance. If this happens, you can let us know by completing an Extenuating Circumstances form.

This helps us understand your situation and ensure you get the right support. You can apply through the Wellbeing Home webpage, and there’s also an FAQ guide to answer common questions.

Wellbeing Matters

Come along to our Wellbeing Matters sessions and learn practical skills to help you effectively and proactively manage your wellbeing and mental health through your time at university and beyond.

Sessions are delivered via Zoom, and last between 45 and 60 minutes, and you are very welcome to attend all topics or just drop into single sessions that are of particular interest. You can contribute as much or as little as you’d like to; there’s no pressure.

So grab a cup of tea, log on and hear some practical tools and strategies you can use to overcome some of the most common wellbeing challenges we all encounter at university.

We are delighted to offer a series of Wellbeing Matters session in Mandarin.
