The Glasgow University Trampoline Club (GUTC) is a friendly, welcoming club with a successful history in competitions and also a strong social aspect.
The club caters for those of all abilities, so whether you're a beginner or more experienced bouncer you're welcome to come along.
Our fully-qualified coaches strive to develop the members to their full potential, providing a safe and encouraging environment for our gymnasts.
Training
We train three nights a week and our main training site is Sparta Trampoline Club in the Southside of Glasgow.

Competing
There are four Scottish League Competitions (SSS) every year and we also compete at two University Open Competitions (Manchester Open and Irish Open), BUCS and the Glasgow Taxis Cup.
We're incredibly proud of all our competitors, ranging through all different levels. We celebrate every medal collected, from our first BUCS team medal in 2014 to our first shield won in 2020! In 2022 as well as 2023, we were awarded the Scottish Student Trampoline League Trophy as the highest-scoring team all year! We also came away with five shields in different category levels. We continue to aim and achieve incredibly high and remain high-spirited and honoured no matter the outcome.
There is no pressure to compete, although it is a great way to meet new people, test yourself, and explore the UK!
In between competitions, training and well-deserved rest, GUTC holds a wide range of inclusive get-togethers. Online and IRL, nights out and nights in, themed and 'just show up', ceilidhs and dinners (to name only a few) – our social calendar is extensive and caters for all! GUTC also whisks the team away to trips away of up to four days at competitions!

How to Join
Joining a GU Sports Club is a simple, three-step process:
- Join UofG Sport with one of these three memberships only:
- Student Sport 12-month Full-Access (£170)
- Student Sport Semester Full-Access (£99)
- Student Sport Accommodation 12-month Full-Access (£120)*
- Contact the Club about what membership type you should select (if you're unsure) or if you have any questions
- Use the Club Management Portal to join the Club online

* Discounted Accommodation membership is only available to students living in UofG Accommodation, and is not available for online purchase – please join at Front Desk at the Stevenson Building.
