Between 2022 and the first half of 2025, the GKEF awarded £1,177,941 to University of Glasgow researchers leading 123 projects. By September 2025, these projects have contributed to:

  • Establishing 126 new partnerships with non-academic organisations.
  • Delivering 73 public engagement events attended by 45,972 people.
  • Developing 14 prototypes and the filing of 5 patents.
  • Creating 7 policies.
  • Leveraging cash and in-kind contributions from partners to a value of almost £1.8 million.
