Articles that acknowledged The Charities Open Access Fund (COAF); Bloodwise, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Parkinson’s UK, Versus Arthritis and Wellcome Trust must be deposited in Europe PMC within 6 months of publication. A full list of Europe PMC funders can be found at https://europepmc.org/Funders/
Where an open access fee is paid from COAF, the journal must deposit the final version of the article on behalf of the author. Articles that are not paid from COAF (but acknowledge funds from COAF), authors must self-deposit their final accepted manuscript to Europe PubMed Central within 6 months of final publication.
When you deposit to Europe PMC you will recieve a PMCID, please note that this is not the same as a PMID. A PMID is reference for a deposit to PMC.
