The Counselling Service
The Counselling Service at UofG provides a range of support to help you manage your mental health and build strategies that will help you successfully complete your course of study.
Support is provided for a range of issues and severity, to ensure that you feel supported in a way that works for you. You can learn more about the various support offerings available and how to access them below.
Want to chat to a fellow student...?
- Speaking to someone who has shared similar experiences can be helpful. You can make an appointment with one of our trained Student Listeners on their webpage.
- You can also access TalkCampus, an online community where students can support each other through daily challenges. You can access in your own first own language, on a mobile device, any time of day or night.
Need support for your mental health and wellbeing...?
- Register with the Counselling Service: if you'd like to speak to someone about your your mental health and wellbeing, register here for Counselling and Wellbeing support.
Want to try group therapy...?
Therapy doesn't have to happen one-to-one. Many students find that working alongside others in a professionally facilitated group provides connection, insight, and support in ways they hadn't expected.
